broken pieces

is there a rule in breaking someone’s heart? i have this friend who just broke someone’s heart today. he has his reasons and that i don’t know. maybe it wasn’t meant to be.

after days or weeks of communication, one would always wonder why things won’t go your way. maybe it wasn’t the right time. maybe it’s the wrong place. or maybe it’s just how the way things should be. it’s not a matter of how you feel at one time or another but sometimes you just have to make decisions that might hurt someone but probably the best decision there is to make.

a sad feeling for the other person but there’s no other way to go but move on. you don’t have to be in a relationship to realize this. be thankful that the two of you were able to get to know each other at some point. don’t lose the friendship. it may be hard to keep at first…time will help you heal the wound of your heart. just make sure that it won’t take you too long to understand. there are people you call your friends... friends that are for keeps... and this person, for all you know, may just be one of them.
