i can name the tune...

i went to sing for a friend's wedding yesterday. i have brought along a friend to sing with me. it was a pretty wedding. we were kinda nervous about singing at first. i guess it was because of all the vocalizations we've done that i sort of lost air in the first song i sang. but after that, i kinda got a hold of myself and sang the other songs better.

there's just one highlight that i couldn't let go. there's this person who approached me and my friend during the wedding. i thought that he's probably the wedding coordinator or a staff from the church but no, he was asking if i knew this particular song. he wanted to sing. i didn't exactly know how to play the song and thank goodness i didn't. i really was surprised at that! that for a time, i couldn't remember the intro of the song i was about to play. then he suggested that he'll just hum to the tune of the song me and my friend we're about to sing. in which case he didn't exactly know the tune at all. i couldn't just tell him to stop cause i was being polite and all but there's nothing i can do at that time. i just concentrated on the song and tried my very best not to get distracted. the good thing was my friend didn't laugh at any time during the whole wedding. otherwise, i'd be laughing too...hah!

it was a fun wedding. it has a uniqueness in it's own way. i'm happy for my friends who got married!
